A thought

To which city would some rational extraterrestrial who cares about the earth give Olympic torch? My take is that it would pick up Madrid. First of all, by appearance from the outer space, Olympic Games represent a huge economic boost. Which city has unused human resources, unemployed people? Spain’s unemployment rate is over 20%. So, it is an obvious choice by far and from afar. Second, the Games need considerable amount of time of management in planning and execution. From outer space, Tokyo would need management resources for other topics, which are more serious to human beings under current sovereign nation system. Then, I wonder to which city would some cunning extraterrestrial give Olympic torch before invasion?
