 ちょっと目を離している間に、こういうものが出ておりました。雑事にかまけてスキップしそうになったのですが、Dani Rodrikにこう書かれると、食欲がわきます。

The sentence which caught my eyes in the Calvo's short article is this:

Fund has jettisoned its role as guardian of the foreign exchange system, sometimes even supporting foreign exchange regimes that are mutually incompatible, such as Argentina and Brazil in the late 1990s, and Guatemala and El Salvador right now.

I have to explore this issue, certainly, further, because, if not, nobody does in this tiny 130 million country.  Well, I hope my wild guess is wrong.  Join me in the exploration and give me a hint or comment.  Thank you in advance.
