Aug. 20 at Guatemala City
(Now I CAN READ but CANNOT WRITE in Japanese, due to the condition of the computer I have access to. Anyway, I would continue my BLOG in English.)
The class ended well. I could go over all the slides I had. It seems the students had a nice experience. Well, I will be formally informed because the students answered the evaluation reports.
It was raining heavily, but Mr. O and I went to a good Italian restaurant for lunch to celebrate the seemingly happy ending. We had a nice pasta and pizza. I had two glasses of wine, actually the first alcohol drink in Guatemala this time. I could tell myself how sensitive I was at keeping my condition well. Now that the teaching was over, I could freely drink!
After the lunch, we went to Mr. O's house to do a few things. One of them is to get a newspaper in which I was quoted. Attentive readers will remember that I was interviewd by the journalists on Tuesday.
We had dinner with a few more persons at a Spanish restaurant, which was OK. We had a good talk.
